What are the features?
Each piece in this set have their own sensory development features.
- The rattle is designed as a frog and produces a gentle rattling noise when shaken
- The mirror has an easy to grab handle and will help babies identify their own reflection. This is great for their developing curious minds
- The hippo is a soft toy with a squeek in the middle. It also features crinkly sounds on the hands and soft textured feet for soothing your babys gums when teething
- The highlight of the gift set is the Musical Piano. It features a massive 45+ songs, melodies, sounds and phrases. In addition to the sounds the piano lights up in various colours to help babies stimulation.
Our thoughts
Although the clue is in the name, this set would make a fantastic gift to a little one. We bought this when our baby girl was 4 months old as she was starting to explore more and didn’t have many toys. She’s now 7 months old at writing the review and LOVES the piano/hippo more than ever. Surprisingly, we’re 3 months in and still can tolerate the piano’s sounds (you’ll realise how repetitive some toys are!)
The hippo is a great light weight soft toy that our little girl has now started baby chattering to…all the time! The rattle and mirror aren’t used as much but serve as a good extra addition.
The presentation of the set really does make it a great gift for baby showers/christenings/first gift.

As mentioned, this is a fantastic starter toy set and can be found at a great price.
The keyboard and hippo are the highlight toys in the set. The rattle and mirror are nice additions but bring the score down as they have been less of a hit in our house.
